A collaborative project between Aveiro and Bod\u00f82024.<\/p>\n<p>The city of Aveiro, in Portugal, and the Nordland region, in Norway, are connected by the Atlantic Ocean \u2014 and much more. Both have seaports and share a love for fishing and traditions with a taste for the sea. Their heritage is part of the Atlantic cultural identity.<\/p>\n<p>In the land of fishermen, cod and shellfish are part of traditional cuisine. This knowledge has been passed down for centuries and generations, reinvented by chefs and inspire more than a thousand cod recipes.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>It is in the search for more sustainable food production that the cooperation between Aveiro and Bod\u00f8 takes on a special flavor and spice. Norway is the world&#8217;s largest exporter of fish and shellfish, while the Aveiro region is a national reference in the production of \u201ctraditional Portuguese cured cod\u201d, preserves,
